त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

वेदा: प्रतिष्ठा ज्योतिर्भ्यस्ततो हयशिरा: प्रभु: । ब्रह्मा पितामहस्तस्माज्जागर्ति प्रभुरव्यय:
vedāḥ pratiṣṭhā jyotirbhyaḥ tato hayaśirāḥ prabhuḥ | brahmā pitāmahastasmāj jāgarti prabhuravyayaḥ ||
ヴァスハローマは言った。「天の光明より権威の『杖』（ダンダ daṇḍa）が現れ、それによってヴェーダは堅固に安立する。ヴェーダより主ハヤグリーヴァ（Hayagrīva）が現れ、ハヤグリーヴァより不滅の主にしてピターマハたるブラフマーが生ずる。その規律と統御の杖を受けて、彼は諸世界を護り整えるため、常に目覚めている。」
