Testing and Appointment of Ministers/Servants
मुने: पार्श्वगतो नित्यं शरभ: सुखमाप्तवान् । इस प्रकार मुनिने उस कुत्तेको उस समय शरभके स्थानमें प्रतिष्ठित कर दिया। वह शरभ प्रतिदिन मुनिके पास सुखसे रहने लगा
muneḥ pārśvagato nityaṁ śarabhaḥ sukham āptavān |
ビーシュマは語った。「聖者の傍らに常に寄り添って、シャラバは安楽に暮らした。かくしてその時、聖仙はその犬をシャラバの位と境遇に据え、シャラバとなったそれは日々、聖者の近くで幸いに住んだのである。」これは、苦行の功徳がもつ護りの力と、庇護を求める者に避難と安全を与えるべき倫理の務めを示している。
