इति श्रीमहा भारते शान्तिपर्वणि राजधर्मानुशासनपर्वणि श्रवर्षिसंवादे सप्तदशाधिकशततमोड<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi rājadharmānuśāsanaparvaṇi śravaṛṣi-saṃvāde saptadaśādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』「シャーンティ・パルヴァ」中、ラージャダルマ（王法・王の義務）の教誡部において、聖仙シュラヴァ（Śrava）に関わる対話を収めた第百十七章（117）は終わった。これは章の終結を示す奥書であり、登場人物が語る教説の偈ではない。
