sa tudyamāno balavān vāgbhī rāma samantataḥ

Translation

鋭く刺すような言葉が四方から浴びせられても、剛なるラーマはその口舌の打撃に耐え、周囲の非難のただ中で揺るがず立ち続けた——力とは戦場のみならず、挑発の下で自制を保つことにおいても試されるのだという姿である。
