ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「ダールビヤは牛を求めた。だが相手は怒り、彼に言い放った。最上の王が、牛たちがただの偶然で死んだのを見たとき、法にかなった力ある苦行者は大いなる憤怒に捉えられた。」この段は、怒りが心を覆えば、ダルマの人でさえ苛烈な言葉と破滅的な決意へ傾きうることを示し、重大な帰結への端緒となる。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores that anger can overpower even a dharmic and powerful person, leading to harsh speech and potentially harmful actions; ethical steadiness requires mastery over krodha, especially when events occur by mere chance.
D01lbhya requests cattle, but the other party responds in anger. Seeing that the cows have died accidentally, the righteous yet formidable figure becomes intensely enraged, marking the beginning of a conflict driven by misfortune and uncontrolled emotion.
