Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
अन्निहोत्रैस्ततस्तेषां क्रियमाणैर्महात्मनाम् । अशोभत सरिच्छेष्ठा दीप्यमानै: समन्तत:,चारों ओर प्रकाशित हुए उन महात्माओंद्वारा किये जानेवाले यज्ञसे सरिताओंमें श्रेष्ठ सरस्वतीकी बड़ी शोभा हो रही थी
agnihotraistatas teṣāṁ kriyamāṇair mahātmanām | aśobhata saricchreṣṭhā dīpyamānaiḥ samantataḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。やがて、かの大いなる魂の者たちがアグニホートラの供儀を行うと、諸河の第一たるサラスヴァティーは、四方を燃え盛る祭火に照らされ、いよいよ輝きを増した。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the sustaining power of dharma through daily Vedic duty (agnihotra): righteous, disciplined action can create sanctity and order, making even the surrounding environment radiant and spiritually charged.
The narrator describes great-souled men performing agnihotra rites near the Sarasvatī; the river is portrayed as shining beautifully, lit all around by the sacrificial fires.
