Transliteration

prāyāt prācīṃ diśaṃ tatra tatra tīrthāny anekaśaḥ | sahasraśata-saṅkhyāni prathitāni pade pade, paurava |

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。彼は東方へと進み、道すがら一歩ごとに多くのティールタ（聖なる渡し場）が現れた――名高い巡礼地が幾十万とも数えられるほどであった、プルの末裔よ。
