Adhyāya 14: Śalya’s Missile-Pressure and the Pāṇḍava Convergence (शल्यस्य शरवर्षम्)
विकर्षन् वै धनु: श्रेष्ठ सर्वभारसहं दृढम्
vikarṣan vai dhanuḥ śreṣṭhaṃ sarvabhārasahaṃ dṛḍham
サञ्जयは言った。あらゆる負荷に耐える堅固な名弓を引き絞り、彼は揺るがぬ決意で身を整えた。それは、力と不動の心が生死を分かつ戦場の苛烈な規律そのものであった。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights steadiness under pressure: excellence is not only power but the capacity to endure strain without wavering—an ethical reminder that in crisis, firmness and disciplined control determine one’s effectiveness.
