Aśvatthāman’s Curse, Parikṣit’s Future, and the Mani’s Restitution
अवतीर्य रथेभ्यस्तु त्वरमाणा महारथा: । ददृशुद्रौपदीं कृष्णामार्तामार्ततरा: स्वयम्
avatīrya rathebhyaḥ tu tvaramāṇā mahārathāḥ | dadṛśuḥ draupadīṃ kṛṣṇām ārtām ārtatarāḥ svayam ||
大戦士たちは急ぎ戦車を降り、悲嘆に押し潰されたドラウパディー—クリシュナー—を目の当たりにした。その姿を見て、彼らは彼女以上に胸を痛めた。この偈は、暴力の余波が勝利や生存で終わらぬことを示す。苦しみは共感と血縁、そして道義の衝撃を通して広がってゆく。
