गोवासना ब्राह्मणाश्न दासनीयाश्ष सर्वश: । प्रीत्यर्थ ते महाराज धर्मराज्ञों महात्मन:
duryodhana uvāca | go-vāsanā brāhmaṇāś ca dāsanīyāś ca sarvaśaḥ | prīty-arthaṃ te mahārāja dharmarājño mahātmanaḥ ||
ドゥルヨーダナは言った。「大王よ、婆羅門たち、牛を養って生計を立てるヴァイシャたち、そして奉仕に適う者（シュードラ等）までもが、尊きダルマラージャを喜ばせようと供物を携え、門前に立ち尽くしていた。彼らは大勢で集い、美しい黄金の器やさまざまな贈り物を持参したが、内へ入ることができなかった。」
