サンジャヤは言った。「かくして、聖なる『マハーバーラタ』カルナ篇における、カルナの討死を扱う第九十一章は終わる。これは戦の決定的な一幕の閉幕であり、過去の選択の報いと義務(ダルマ)の要請とが、もはや覆しえぬ結末へと収斂したことを告げる。」
