Educational Q&A

As a chapter-ending colophon, the line does not teach through a direct maxim; it signals completion of a section centered on Karna’s slaying, implicitly highlighting how dharma, loyalty, and prior actions converge in war to produce decisive, morally weighty outcomes.

Sanjaya marks the conclusion of the ninety-first chapter in the Karna Parva, identifying its subject as Karna’s death; it functions as an editorial/narrative closure rather than a spoken verse advancing the plot.
