Transliteration

dhārtarāṣṭram udagraṃ hi vyūḍhaṃ dṛṣṭvā mahad balam

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。ダールタラーシュトラ方の軍勢が、猛々しく恐るべき戦陣として布かれているのを見て――それは実に巨大な兵力であった――（彼はその後に起こったことを語り始めた）。
