कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament
सध्वजा: सायुधा: शूरा: सवर्माम्बरभूषणा: । कालेन महता यत्ता: कुशलैयें च वर्धिता:
sadhvajāḥ sāyudhāḥ śūrāḥ savarmāmbarabhūṣaṇāḥ | kālena mahatā yattāḥ kuśalaiś ca vardhitāḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。「彼らは旗印と武器を備えた勇士であり、鎧をまとい、麗しい衣を飾っていた。長き歳月にわたり規律に鍛えられ、巧みな訓練によって力を増し、彼らは備え整えて立っていた――忍耐と秩序、そして鍛錬された技量によって形づくられた軍勢である。戦のダルマの重みが迫るにつれ、その備えはいよいよ確かであった。」
