Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)
स पार्थ त्रिभिरानर्छत् सप्तत्या च जनार्दनम्
sa pārtha tribhir ānarcat saptatyā ca janārdanam
サञ्जयは語った。彼はパールタ（アルジュナ）を三本の矢で射、ジャナールダナ（クリシュナ）を七十本の矢で射た。そこに戦の冷酷な算術がある。正しさではなく、与えた傷の数で武の力が量られるのだ。されどアルジュナの傍らにクリシュナが在すことで、この戦の道義の地平はなお視界に保たれている。
