द्रोण–सात्यकि-युद्धम्
Droṇa–Sātyaki Engagement
ततोडब्रवीद् वासुदेवो धनंजयमिदं वच: । पार्थ पार्थ महाबाहो न नः कालात्ययो भवेत्
tato 'bravīd vāsudevo dhanañjayam idaṁ vacaḥ | pārtha pārtha mahābāho na naḥ kālātyayo bhavet ||
そのときヴァースデーヴァはダナンジャヤにこう告げた。「パールタよ、パールタよ、強き腕の者よ——われらは時を失ってはならぬ。」戦のただ中で、クリシュナはアルジュナに遅滞なき行動を促す。すなわち、正しき行い（ダルマ）は機を得て断乎として遂げられるべきで、好機と責務がすり抜けてからでは遅いのだ。
