サञ्जयは言った。「見よ、スバドラーの子アビマンニュ――パールタの中に名高い若き英雄――が進みゆき、すべての友誼ある者たちを喜ばせ、また王ユディシュティラをも歓ばせている。」

The verse highlights the ethical power of a righteous warrior’s presence: a celebrated youth advances not merely to fight, but to strengthen morale and solidarity among allies and elders. Renown (prathita) is linked with conduct that uplifts one’s community (nandayan suhṛdaḥ), suggesting that true heroism includes inspiring confidence and unity in a dharmic cause.
Sañjaya points out Abhimanyu, the son of Subhadrā, as he proceeds forward in the battle context. Abhimanyu is described as a famed young hero among the Pāṇḍavas, moving in a way that delights and heartens all well-wishers, including King Yudhiṣṭhira.
