Shloka 34

धृष्टद्युम्नस्तथा राजन्‌ गभस्तिभिरिवांशुमान्‌ । बभौ प्रच्छादयन्नाशा: शरजालै: समन्तत:ः,राजन! अपने बाणोंके समूहसे सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको सब ओरसे आच्छादित करते हुए धृष्टद्युम्न किरणोंद्वारा अंशुमाली सूर्यके समान प्रकाशित हो रहे थे

sañjaya uvāca |

dhṛṣṭadyumnas tathā rājan gabhastibhir ivāṃśumān |

babhau pracchādayann āśāḥ śarajālaiḥ samantataḥ ||

サञ्जयは語った――王よ、ドリシュタデュムナは、矢の密なる網をもって四方の方角を余すところなく覆い尽くし、その姿は光芒を放つ太陽のごとく輝いていた。この比喩は、鍛え上げられた武芸の圧倒的な威力を示す――決意に導かれるとき、それは戦場を支配し、多くの運命を形づくる。
