यत्र क्रीडितमस्माभिस्तदा राजन्‌ समागतै: । “राजकुमार! कौरवनरेश! न तो यह सभा है और न आचार्यका घर ही है जहाँ एकत्र होकर हम सब लोग खेला करते थे”

Transliteration

yatra krīḍitam asmābhis tadā rājan samāgataiḥ |

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「大王よ、ここはかつて我ら王子たちが集い、気ままに遊んだあの सभा（集会堂）でもなく、師の家でもない。いま眼前にあるのは別の秩序—若き日の絆と血縁の結びつきが、戦と義務の苛烈な要請によって覆い隠された世界である。」
