Transliteration

tato duryodhanaḥ karṇo droṇo daḥśāsanas tathā

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。ついでドゥルヨーダナ、カルナ、ドローナ、そして同じくドゥフシャーサナが、次々に前へ進み/行動した。この一句は戦記が次の局面へ移る合図であり、戦場における義務・忠誠・暴力の倫理的緊張を、彼ら主要なカウラヴァの指導者たちの選択と進言が押し進めていくことを示している。
