サンジャヤは言った。ついにカウラヴァ方の四人の車戦の勇士が、パーンダヴァ方の四人と至近の戦いに入った。ドゥルヨーダナは兄弟とともに、マードリーの双子の子(ナクラとサハデーヴァ)に対峙し、戦列が締まりゆく中、戦の猛りのただ中でダルマ(dharma)—正しい秩序—が試されていった。
