श्रेयसस्त्वद्धिते युक्तांस्तत्तद्‌ वक्तुमिहेच्छसि । “तुम निष्ठर और पापपूर्ण विचार रखनेवाले हो; अतः तुम्हारे मनमें सबपर संदेह बना रहता है, इसीलिये तुम्हारे हितमें ही तत्पर रहनेवाले श्रेष्ठ पुरुषोंको भी तुम ऐसी-ऐसी बातें सुनानेकी इच्छा रखते हो

Transliteration

śreyasastvaddhite yuktāṁstattad vaktum ihecchasi |

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「そなたはここで、真にそなたの益となることに尽くす高貴な者たちにさえ、あれこれと物申そうとしている。罪深い意図に染まり、心が硬くなっているがゆえに、そなたは誰をも疑ってやまぬのだ。」
