तस्यापि च वधोपायं वक्ष्यामि तव पाण्डव । पाण्डुनन्दन! युद्धमें दुर्योधनका भी वध भीमसेन करेंगे। उसके वधका उपाय भी मैं तुम्हें बताऊँगा ।। वर्धते तुमुलस्त्वेष शब्द: परचमूं प्रति
tasyāpi ca vadhōpāyaṁ vakṣyāmi tava pāṇḍava | pāṇḍunandana! yuddhe duryodhanasyāpi vadhaṁ bhīmasenaḥ kariṣyati | tasya vadhasyōpāyam api ahaṃ tvāṁ vaktum icchāmi || vardhate tumulas tv eṣa śabdaḥ paracamūṃ prati ||
ヴァーユは言った。「おおパーンダヴァよ、彼を討つ手立てもまた汝に語ろう。おおパーンドゥの子よ――戦場においてビーマセーナはまことにドゥルヨーダナを死に至らしめる。われはその殺を成就する策を汝に説き明かす。見よ、いまや敵軍に向かって、猛々しく騒然たる鬨の声が湧き上がっている。」
