गदया ताडयामास सा गदा भीममाव्रजत्‌ । ज्वालासे व्याप्त हुई उस गदाको वेगसे आती देख अलायुधने उसपर अपनी गदासे आघात किया। फिर वह गदा भीमके पास ही लौट आयी

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | gadayā tāḍayāmāsa sā gadā bhīmam āvrajat |

Translation

サञ्जयは言った。「彼は棍棒で打ち放ち、それを投げ放った。炎をまとったその棍棒は、凄まじい速さでビーマへと突進した。迫り来るのを見たアーラーユダは自らの棍棒で打ち返したが、それでもその棍棒は再びビーマのもとへ戻った。」
