सतं दृष्टवा राक्षसेन्द्रं भीमो भीमपराक्रम:

śatāṁ dṛṣṭvā rākṣasendraṁ bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ

サञ्जयは語った。羅刹たちの主を見て、ビーマ—その武威は恐るべき者—は対決の覚悟を固めた。この一句は、暴力のただ中で勇気と義務(クシャトリヤの法)が試される戦の道徳的な坩堝において、強敵に臨むビーマの断固たる決意を示している。
