Transliteration

tām āpatantīṁ vegena gadāṁ jvālākulāṁ tataḥ

Translation

サञ्जयは語った。ついで彼は、炎に包まれた燃えさかるガダー（棍棒）が、凄まじい勢いで飛来し落ちてくるのを見た。この光景は戦の苛烈さを示す。武器は圧倒的な力の器となり、混沌の中で武人の自制と決意、そしてクシャトリヤの義務を試すのである。
