त॑ भीमसेन: समरे तीक्ष्णाग्रैरक्षेणोच्छरै: । अलायुधस्तु तानस्तान्‌ भीमेन विशिखान्‌ रणे

Transliteration

taṁ bhīmasenaḥ samare tīkṣṇāgrair akṣaṇoccharaiḥ | alāyudhas tu tān astān bhīmena viśikhān raṇe

Translation

サञ्जयは語った。戦のただ中で、ビーマセーナは鋭い鏃の矢を、まばたきほどの速さで彼に浴びせた。だがアーラーユダは、その同じ戦いにおいて、ビーマの放った矢を耐え忍び—戦乱の混沌の中、暴力に対して揺るがぬ抵抗をもって応じた。
