サञ्जयは言った。ほかの者たちは迷妄に惑わされ、再びドローナाचार्यその人に向かって進み出た。戦場において、かかる錯乱のまま突進したパाण्डव軍の戦士は多く討たれ、来世へと去った。戦では、明晰さと判断を失うことが、たちまち破滅の因となるのである。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the destructive power of moha (delusion): when discernment collapses in the heat of conflict, people rush into avoidable danger, and the ethical cost of war manifests as needless loss of life.
Sañjaya reports that some Pāṇḍava-side fighters, confused and overwhelmed, advanced directly toward Droṇācārya; many of them were slain on the battlefield and thus ‘went to the next world’ (i.e., died).
