दुःशासन-सहदेव-संक्षोभः; भीम-राधेय-गदायुद्धम्; द्रोण-पार्थ-अस्त्रसंग्रामः

प्राहिणोन्मृत्युलोकाय गणान् क्रुद्धों वृकोदर: । क्रोधमें भरे हुए भीमसेनने अम्बष्ठ, मालव, वंग, शिबि तथा त्रिगर्तदेशके योद्धाओंको मृत्युके लोकमें भेज दिया

サञ्जयは語った。怒りに燃えるヴリコーダラ（ビーマ）は、戦士の群れをことごとく死の国へと送り込んだ。憤怒に満ちたビーマセーナは、アンバシュタ、マーラヴァ、ヴァンガ、シビ、トリガルタの諸国の兵を斬り伏せ、彼らをヤマの世界へ至る道の旅人とした。この偈は、戦の陰鬱な道徳的緊張を示す——怒りは、戦場の義務をたちまち大量の破壊へと変え、勝利はヤマの領域へ送られる命によって購われるのである。
