The Vāsavī Spear’s Use, Post-Ghaṭotkaca Grief, and Vyāsa’s Counsel
bhīmaseno 'pi taṃ dṛṣṭvā yāntaṃ droṇāya phālgunam
The verse highlights alertness to righteous action in crisis: when a principal warrior moves to confront a pivotal adversary, others must recognize the moral and strategic weight of the moment and align their conduct with duty (svadharma) rather than hesitation.
Sañjaya narrates that Bhīma observes Arjuna (Phālguna) proceeding toward Droṇa, indicating a developing confrontation with Droṇa as a central figure on the battlefield and signaling coordinated awareness among the Pāṇḍavas.
