Transliteration

tataḥ samabhavad yuddhaṃ sandhyāyām atidāruṇam

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。やがて黄昏に、戦いが起こった——この上なく凄惨な戦であった。これは陰惨な転機を告げる。昼の暴力は、さらに危うい刻へと移り、光が薄れ、怒りが燃え上がるその相乗が、戦の人間的・道義的な代償をいっそう深くしたのである。
