बह्नबद्धमकर्ण्य च चापलादपरीक्षितम् | 'सूतपुत्र! तेरी बुद्धि बहुत ओछी है। इसीलिये तू चपलतावश बिना जाँचे-बूझे बहुत-सी न सुननेयोग्य असम्बद्ध बातें बक जाया करता है
bahnabaddham akarṇya ca cāpalād aparīkṣitam |
サンジャヤは言った。「軽躁にまかせ、吟味もなく吐かれた、つながりのない取り合わせの悪い言葉を聞くや、彼はそれを『聞くに値せぬ』として咎め、分別なく性急に語ることの倫理的過失を指摘した。」
