अभ्यस्तो बहुभिर्बाणर्दशधर्मगतेन वै । “मैंने पुत्रशोकसे संतप्त, बाणोंद्वारा पीड़ित तथा भारी दुरवस्थाको प्राप्त होकर बहुसंख्यक बाणोंद्वारा उन्हें अनेक बार चोट पहुँचायी है
abhyasto bahubhir bāṇair daśa-dharma-gatena vai |
サンジャヤは言った。「彼は幾度も多くの矢に襲われ、悲惨で危うい境地へと追い込まれた。すると彼もまた、失子の苦しみに心を灼かれ、静かな自制よりも戦の苛烈な強制に従うかたちで、無数の矢をもって幾度となく打ち返した。」
