Droṇa Encircled at Night: Coalition Advance and Battlefield Omens (द्रोणपर्यावरणं रात्रियुद्धवर्णनम्)

पुनर्भीम॑ महाबाहुं धर्मपुत्रो5भ्यभाषत । त्रिलोकीको डरा देनेवाले उस घोर एवं महान्‌ सिंहनादको सुनकर धर्मपुत्र युधिष्ठटिरने (जाते हुए) महाबाहु भीमसेनसे पुनः इस प्रकार कहा--

sañjaya uvāca | punar bhīmaṁ mahābāhuṁ dharmaputro 'bhyabhāṣata | trilokīṁ kampayantaṁ taṁ ghoram mahāsiṁhanādaṁ śrutvā dharmaputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ (gacchan) mahābāhuṁ bhīmasenaṁ punaḥ idam uvāca ||

サञ्जयは言った。「三界をも揺るがすかと思われる、恐ろしくも雄大な獅子の咆哮を聞いて、法の子ユディシュティラは進みながら、強き腕のビーマに再びこう語りかけた。この瞬間は、ユディシュティラのダルマに根ざした統率を示す。恐怖と戦の喧噪のただ中にあっても、彼は狼狽ではなく、熟慮の言葉で友を鎮めるのである。」
