स रथ: प्रद्रुत: संख्ये मण्डलानि सहस्रश: । चकार राजतो राजन् भ्राजमान इवांशुमान्,राजन! वह चाँदीका बना हुआ रथ- युद्धस्थलमें दौड़ लगाता हुआ हजारों चक्कर काटता रहा। उस समय उसकी अंशुमाली सूर्यके समान शोभा हो रही थी
sa rathaḥ pradrutaḥ saṅkhye maṇḍalāni sahasraśaḥ | cakāra rājato rājan bhrājamāna ivāṃśumān ||
サञ्जयは語った。――戦のただ中で、その戦車は全速で走り、幾千もの輪を描いて回り続けた。王よ、それは光り輝き、光線を放つ太陽のごとくであった。戦の暴虐の中にあってなお、王者の壮麗がそこに現れていた。
