Transliteration

navaite tava vāhinyām ucchitāḥ paramadhvajāḥ

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「陛下の軍のうち、これら最上の旗手たちは、いまや討ち倒されました。」この報は戦の苛烈な道義的重みを浮き彫りにする。高き旗と名声に彩られた最も卓越した武者でさえ、アダルマに駆られた争いが最高潮に達すれば、容赦なく呑み込まれるのである。
