इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि ध्वजवर्णने पजञ्चाधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi dhvajavarṇane pañcādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
かくして『吉祥マハーバーラタ』のドローナ・パルヴァ、そのうちジャヤドラタ討伐の章において、旗印の描写を主題とする第百五章は終わる。この結びの題記は、物語を戦争の道徳的・歴史的記録の一部として位置づけ、義務と決意、そして武の誓いがもたらす帰結が展開してゆく節目を示す。
