Description of the Bhīmasena–Karṇa Engagement
इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे चतुरधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhe caturadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
サञ्जयは語った――かくして聖なる『マハーバーラタ』のドローナ・パルヴァ、ジャヤドラタ討伐の章段において、錯綜し混乱した戦闘を描く第百四章は終わった。この奥書は、ここを道義的に重い転機として示す。誓願と義務と報復とがジャヤドラタの運命の周りに収斂するにつれ、戦の混沌はいよいよ深まってゆくのである。
