इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत जयद्रथवधपर्वमें दुर्योधन-पराजयविषयक एक सौ तीनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargataṃ jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi duryodhana-parājaya-viṣayaka eka-śata-trayodaśo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
サञ्जयは語った――かくして『聖マハーバーラタ』のドローナ・パルヴァ、そのうちジャヤドラタ討伐の章段において、ドゥルヨーダナの敗北を述べる第百三章は終わった。この結語は、誇りと暴力がその報いに出会うという、ダルマと宿命の不可避の流れの中へ、この出来事を位置づけるのである。
