तौ च दृष्टवा महेष्वासावभिमन्युपुरोगमान् | बभूवतुर्मुदा युक्तौ निध्नन्तो तव वाहिनीम्
tau ca dṛṣṭvā maheṣvāsāv abhimanyupurogāmān | babhūvatur mudā yuktau nighnantau tava vāhinīm ||
サンジャヤは言った。強弓の武者――アビマンニュと、その先頭に従って進む英雄たち――を見て、ドリシュタデュムナとビーマセーナの二人は歓喜と新たな闘志に満たされ、あなたの軍を討ち崩し始めた。叙事詩の道義の流れにおいて、この瞬間は、正しき同朋の姿と時宜を得た援軍が勇気を燃え立たせ、決意を戦場の混沌の中で決定的な行為へと変えることを示している。
