Transliteration

kuśastambaḥ kuśadvīpe madhye janapadaiḥ saha | sampūjyate śālmalidvīpe śālmalī ca nṛpa-nareśvara ||

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「クシャドヴィーパの中央には『クシャスタンバ』と呼ばれる巨大なクシャ草の叢があり、その国々の民はこれを礼拝する。同じく、王の中の王よ、シャールマリドヴィーパではシャールマリ（木綿樹・カポック）の樹が礼拝される。」
