The verse highlights shared reverence across all four varṇas: sacred places (or symbols of abundance and order) can function as common objects of worship, suggesting social cohesion through collective ritual and respect for what is regarded as holy.
Sañjaya describes a cosmographical region, Krauñcadvīpa, and its prominent mountain Mahākrauñca, famed as a source of jewels; he adds that people of all four social orders regularly worship this mountain.
