ततः प्रववृते युद्ध कुरूणां पाण्डवैः सह । अक्षद्यूतकृतं राजन् सुघोरं वैशसं तदा
tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṁ kurūṇāṁ pāṇḍavaiḥ saha | akṣadyūtakṛtaṁ rājan sughoraṁ vaiśasaṁ tadā ||
サञ्जयは言った。「そして、クル族とパーンダヴァ族との戦が始まった、大王よ。あの骰子の不正より生じた、きわめて恐ろしく破滅的な争いであった。」
