तत्र वेदविदो राजंश्नक्रु: कर्माणि याजका: । परिक्रमन्त: सर्वज्ञा विधिवत् साधुशिक्षितम्
tatra vedavido rājanś cakruḥ karmāṇi yājakāḥ | parikramantaḥ sarvajñā vidhivat sādhu-śikṣitam ||
その場において、王よ、ヴェーダに通じ、儀礼の全手順に熟達した祭官たちは、諸々の祭式を余すところなく執り行わせた。四方を巡りつつ、万事に明るいその祭儀の達人らは、善き者たちにより鍛えられた伝統の教えのまま、規定どおりに供犠の行為を実行し、また監督した。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes dharma as correct practice: sacred acts should be performed by qualified Veda-knowers, following established rules (vidhi) and the training transmitted by virtuous teachers, so that power and kingship remain anchored in disciplined, ethical tradition.
Vaiśampāyana describes the sacrificial setting where expert priests oversee and execute the prescribed rites. They move around the ritual ground, ensuring every action is completed properly and in full accordance with Vedic procedure.
