Rajo-guṇa-nirdeśa — Brahmā’s Enumeration of Rajasic Dispositions
कामतृत्ता: प्रमोदन्ते सर्वकामसमृद्धिभि: । अर्वाक्स्रोतस इत्येते मनुष्या रजसा वृता:
kāmatṛptāḥ pramodante sarvakāmasamṛddhibhiḥ | arvāksrotasa ity ete manuṣyā rajasā vṛtāḥ ||
ヴァーユは言った。「欲望によってのみ満たされる者は、あらゆる享楽の豊かさに歓喜する。そのような人々はラジャス（rajas）に包まれ、『アルヴァーク・スロタス（arvāksrotas）』と呼ばれる——その流れが下へと、世の対象と快楽へと向かうからである。」
