Vyāsa’s Boon-Offer and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse in the Forest Assembly
gaccha sañjaya yatrāgnir na tvāṁ dahati karhicit
The verse highlights the dharmic value of heeding enlightened guidance: a sage’s instruction can lead one to safety, symbolizing that spiritual refuge and right counsel protect a person even amid destructive forces.
Nārada addresses Sañjaya and directs him to go to a place where fire cannot harm him, implying an imminent danger or a sacred/protected zone where ordinary physical threats are rendered ineffective.
