Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ततो मां दर्शयामासु: स्वप्नान्ते पितरस्तथा । प्रीयमाणास्तु मामूचु: प्रीता: सम भरतर्षभ
tato māṁ darśayāmāsuḥ svapnānte pitaras tathā | prīyamāṇās tu mām ūcuḥ prītāḥ sam bharatarṣabha ||
そして夢の終わりに、祖霊たるピトリ（Pitṛs）が現れ、我に姿を示した。彼らは喜び、こう告げた。「我らは満足した」――おお、バーラタ族の雄牛よ――それは承認と祝福の言葉であった。
