Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
एवमेतान् गुणान् विद्याद् गवादीनां यथाक्रमम् । गोप्रदाता समाप्रोति समस्तानष्टमे क्रमे
Bhīṣma uvāca: evam etān guṇān vidyād gavādīnāṁ yathākramam | gopradātā samāpnoti samastān aṣṭame krame ||
ビーシュマは言った。「このように、牛およびそれに類する施与に結びつく功徳を、順序に従って知るべきである。牛を施す者は報いのすべてを得、その報いは第八歩において効力を現す（受者たるバラモンが施物を携えて立ち去るとき）。」
