नियमानां फल राजन प्रत्यक्षमिह दृश्यते | नियमानां क्रतूनां च त्वयावाप्तमिदं फलम्,राजन! संसारमें नियमोंके पालनका फल तो प्रत्यक्ष देखा जाता है। तुमने भी यह नियमों और यज्ञोंका ही फल प्राप्त किया है
niyamānāṁ phala rājan pratyakṣam iha dṛśyate | niyamānāṁ kratūnāṁ ca tvayāvāptam idaṁ phalam, rājan ||
ビーシュマは言った。「王よ、規律ある戒行（ニヤマ）の果は、この世において直ちに目に見えて現れる。まことに王よ、そなたが得たこの成果も、戒行と祭祀（ヤジュニャ）の結実なのである。」
