नारद उवाच
The verse praises and venerates those who embody dharma through non-violence (ahiṁsā), truthfulness (satya), disciplined vows (vrata), self-restraint (dānta), and inner tranquility (śama), presenting these as exemplary ethical ideals.
Nārada addresses Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) and offers reverence to a class of virtuous people, highlighting the qualities that merit honor within the dharma-centered discourse of the Anuśāsana Parva.
