Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca |

karandhamo naraśreṣṭhaḥ kathadhmorakṣa narādhipaḥ |

dakṣo 'mbharīṣaḥ kukuro raivataś ca mahāyaśāḥ ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「（さらに聞け）これら卓越した王仙の名——人中第一のカランダマ、諸王の主カタドゥモーラ、ダクシャ、アンバリーシャ、ククル、そして大いなる名声を得たライヴァタ。」この章の流れの中でビーシュマは、正しき統治者たちの功徳ある名号を列ね、その憶念と誦持がダルマを養い霊的利益をもたらすと説いている。
